This is the link I tried to post earlier. Well worth a watch. It's not all doom and gloom like the picture the bitter the remainers try to paint. I'd love to see a domino effect and other European countries do what we have.

i really believe they will and it will be the end of the eu , we live in a great country and will soon adapt and prosper from the new world market that will be opening to trade with.

Your missing the point.
It's not about losing, the stay group lost, that's life.
It's about how we move forward as a nation.
Seems Scotland don't want to be ruled by an parliament they see as undemocratic
Have a goverment they don't want, imposed on them by a foreign power
And want to remain as Europeans.
Even those bastions of Empire from Gibraltar want to be European.

The political process needs to engage with 48% of the population that wanted to stay European
I want a political system that cant be allowed to misrepresent the facts and deliberately mislead the population get away with it.

I admit I never once heard them say we will give the 350mil a day to the NHS
But it was written in 3 foot high letters down the side of a bus is a bit of a give away.
yes you won

This was added after.
I have lost:- the right to have a say in what Europe.
You have won,
1 reduction in immigration- well that's a bit of a misunderstanding.
2 giving the EU 350 -well it was never really 350 mil only 161 but it's yet to be decided as we will have to pay Europe in or out, and it isn't going wher the big red bus suggested/impLIED it would
3 making Britain great- seems Gubralta and Scotland don't want to be part of It any more, maybe it's only England,Wales and Northern Ireland that want to be great.
4 make our own laws- well seems that the quickest solution is just to enshrine all the EU laws as ours so we can trade with Europe then go back and repeal as we see fit.
5 make our own trade deals- well seems we don't actually have enough people with the expertise to deal with the potential demand and well might rejoin the EFTA, which uses a lot of EU trade deals
6. Moved a whole load of beurocratic red tape form Brussels to Britain when agreeing trade deals and laws- well maybe not as it seems that well why reinvent the wheel just use their rules,
7. Sovereignty

yes you won
We know you won, congratulations
You most definatley won sovereignty and so far bugger all else because we haven't agreed the terms of exit or trade.
Feel free to gloat but so far I haven't been wrong about predicting what would happen to the 350mil and immigration.

In a democracy unfortunately the minority ( the 48% that wanted to remain ) don't really matter. The 52% that wanted to leave are the ones that count. Why should the minority have any special treatment? It's not how a democracy works. I see this as a golden opportunity for Britain. There are so many markets out there to be exploited. Onwards and upwards I say.

I notice you didn't dispute any of my points on victory.
So did you get what you wanted or just win the vote.
If you think you got what you wanted please explain based around the leave campaign promises
and as it says on the school exam paper, please show working and proof.

I don't have to dispute, or explain anything to anyone. I voted to leave the EU and so did the majority of the British people. What's done is done, move on and deal with it. As far as this thread is concerned, just like Europe, I'm out.

It's a debate about the outcome of the Vote.
Winning the vote is about earning the power to make your political promises happen.
Political solutions don't just happen because we voted 52-48 for the group that supports them,
It's delivery time.
So far i have put the case that Brexit have delivered nothing, only given various rights away.
Not a situation I'm happy with, or any of the people of Britain who voted leave should be.

This isn't personal, we need to start dealing with political reality, who takes us forward and what we want forward to be.

The case I'm making is that Brexit politicians deliberately misled the British public, convinced us to give up various EU rights based on promises they clearly couldn't or wernt in a position to deliver.
Do we want them leading us into negotiations that wil affect our future, what else will they give away cheaply.
