Nicola Sturgeon has just stated on the record that she's been in touch with Sadiq Khan and are looking into both Scotland and London staying in the EU. The silly twonks are having a meltdown. It's f'kin brilliant.

The pound is bouncing back, LSE is back up 260 points. German chancellor has just stated that it's imperitive that the EU maintains open trade agreement with Britain cause he wants to carry on selling motors to us without a levy.

It's a great day to be British. I actually feel like i've contributed to something monumental. You don't get many weeks like that.

In all honesty, the general public should never have been trusted with voting on this issue, the issues are complex in economic, political and social terms. Make no mistake, the ramifications of what we have done will be with us for generations to come.

The bloody fools offered a referendum as a stunt to get more votes, but of course they knew we wouldn't vote to leave. Only a nation of morons would base life changing decisions on rhetoric. Oh, look what happened.

I'm an engineer and I never base my engineering decisions on public opinion.

The public are too ignorant to make decisions of this complexity.

Not meant as insults. Just my opinion that very few of us (including me) understand the implications of leaving or staying in.

My view is that the government are there to make decisions like that for us because we're ignorant of the facts.

The vast majority of us aren't veterinary surgeons for example so wouldn't dream of telling one how best to treat a dog with a tickly cough.

Ignorance is for some reason generally taken as being an insult, but it simply means lacking in knowledge of certain things.

Hear hear. The whole remain campaign was based on scaremongering, bullying and shaming people into staying in. There is a massive market to be tapped into out there. We are now totally free to do so. As I see it as many financial and economic experts backed Brexit as advised against it. Why are the remainers right and leavers wrong? The whole remain campaign has smacked of arrogance.

Telling people to grow up just because they genuinely believe that we as a nation have just done something monumentally stupid is not helpful. I will continue to voice my opinion as much as I like, you certainly haven't held back from voicing yours I'm still in shock tbh as are most people that didn't think the vote would go the way it did including your mate Farage. The pound may have recovered slightly but only due to the Bank of England propping it up, that is not a sustainable situation.
