those in the brexit camp getting a little ahead of themselves should be aware of the silent majority. Apparently a big group whom no one admits to being part of.

Simple majority I believe. 50% + 1 vote will take it.

If it's close, and I mean really close, the lawyers will have a field day.

It's a referendum, this is basically an official poll.

Britain has a parliamentary sovereignty meaning when you elect the governing party they rule for you -i.e. they don't have to ask again on any subject what you want- they decide for you.

Although they'd be unwise to go against the electorates wishes no government is duty bound to accept the vote in any case.

I think that's probably why there's some conspiracy theories being talked about here, personally I've never been fan of supposition based on bugger all facts.

Personally I hope remain 'win' although let's face it -the country has never been so divided on a single decision and it'll take time to heal those wounds.

^^Agreed, although probably not so long as it takes to recover from leaving. Like throwing away the longest period of economic stability since before WW1.

I really worry about what will happen to this country if the remain camp win. The mandarins running Europe have got loads of stuff planned that isn't being said. The running down of our once great armed forces leads me to believe that it's being done in preparation of the forming of a common force for Europe despite what the lying b@5t@rds are telling us about our so-called veto which has been said to be not legally binding and the the stuff "call me Dave" got from the Eu hasn't been ratified, won't be until after the vote if ever.
