It's my engine that the enquiry was for, (I couldn't log in to forum!). I nipped up my TS1 and was wanting to know if as a short term remedy I could get away with a standard 200 top end using the existing 60mm crank obviously with a packing plate. Gonna have to save some pennies to reserect the cylinder.
i built a spare engine up with a 60mm crank and fitted the only usable top end i had which was a standard old sx/gp, 200, three ring, new rings, quick hone . the 110mm rod meant a 2.5 packer, gasket either side to level exhaust at BDC. ran it for a while but it was always a compromise because of the tv200 gears first with a Casa curly (not really suitable) and then a mbgm clubby but could not really see what it could do as the scootopia mounts where unbearable and i managed to ressurect the orig engine.
