I've been looking at the gt186 as well darrell you say on your spec page about the 30mm on the gt200 not the 186 but I think the super tourer and 30mm would work well with li150 gearbox on the 186

Much along the same lines as Darrell is thinking above, a pal of mine who was experiencing a similar situation with a tuned 225 and had access to a 300 x 10 tyre that he could fit to a spare SIII rim to try and test the gearing theory without stripping his motor. A quick test (watch out for ground clearance issues with the smaller tyre) instantly showed that over-gearing was his issue so he then addressed the gearing and cured the issue. If you can borrow a 300 x 10 tyre (J, Luna, etc.) from a mate then this might be your easiest option.
