Even with my glasses on I'm struggling to read the print these days :)
I actually suggested, due to the reader demographic, that they increase the point size......turns out its already larger than standard, and bigger than most other magazines!
"due to the reader demographic"

I like that :)
It must be just my age then.

Sketchy? Would that be the controversial topic of........erm.......'newer' scooters being featured in the magazine?? lol
Not at all, nothing wrong with "newer" scooters Dan, I've owned a GTS and a Fuoco. The wife and I did St Malo to Linxe in a day on my Fugly which I owned for several years. 417 miles but it couldn't match the mileage claimed by one of the Scomadi owners - Northampton to Skegness and back for 6 quid?

And as it happens it was seeing the reviews of the Gilera in Scootering that gave me the itch to go out and get one.
Did you have to do that?

Thought the Scomadi TL125 section was a bit more like a 4 page advert than a feature. I know of 3 people with Scomadis that cant get anywhere near the speeds quoted. All 3 struggle to hit 60mph and all 3 have had various little niggly problems and recalls (infact one sold because it was too slow) going by reading this feature you'd have one in a minute but what about a bit of balance.

Agreed. One of our lots wife has one, it's got a kit on it too and although the scomadi speedo says it's doing over 60, it's actually maxing out at 57mph.
I uploaded a short video for them to watch which shows me riding next to her for a few miles and shows my speedo clearly.

We had a laugh with him saying the only tune it's had is to the speedo lol

Great bit of kit for his Mrs to learn to ride on though :)
Too much hype for sure!

Interesting observations, thanks for the constructive feedback. It's a fair point, well made. Something to consider for coming editions.

I took a couple of risks to try and do something a bit different in this edition, i was actually expecting a backlash from those who are not fans of the Scomadi, but mostly the comments have been very constructive and quite helpful.

In the interest of thread drift avoidance, we could discuss Scomadis in a different thread? viewtopic.php?f=29&t=36768

Great write up about Fred Willingham and Peter Ham loving the new content of the mag. What a shame the bike was lost forever.

Thanks for all your hard work I was becoming increasingly disillusioned with the mag but not now.

Keep up the good work cheers.
