lambretta sidecar fixing

does anybody know how the bracket that fits on the tube is supposed to miss the the brake pedal and the right hand side front legsheid support cause it looks like will have to cut the support and i would of thought that the bracket would of been manafactured so as not to cut anything , perhaps i am wrong

Only seen two being fitted, cant remember anything needing cutting... But they do need re-tightening shortly after fitting cus they loosen off.... Not nice when your the passenger..

cheers , i am thinking now i might have the wrong bracket (is there different brackets!) and if i can get it too fit i was going to wire up the bolts to try and stop it coming off
