Guys,

Any ideas what a Series 1 - LI 150 would cost in a reasonable pretty original condition ? Just thinking of getting one.....

Check on eBay would give you a rough idea of what would be considered the 'going rate'.

S1 and S2 prices have gone up a lot in recent years.

In good run and ride condition I think you'd be looking at somewhere north of 3k.

Unrestored probably anywhere between 1500 and 2500.

Can you chuck a series 3 lump straight into a Series 1 OR equally could I stick a 205 cc Mugello on it ?

You might get away with it if you change the kickstart.

With the S1 motor you need to be wary of the mag side bearing, early ones are petroil lubricated and the mag housing is different. There are other differences like the outie kickstart bump and the lack of an oil thrower washer on the drive side.
