We sleep soundly in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm

Hi it is a rd350lc reed valve, but apperently the rubber is uniqiue to scoots rs, ive tried and spocken with rayspeeds,
Chieslespeed, and a few others, the only thing i think i can do is make uo an ally plate to the right size drillmand tap it
And fit the more common two hole type,
Its just enoying
Thanks to all the lads for the advise

I take it that it's the larger of the 2 reed manifolds that they sell. I'll check if I have one in stock. MB used a similar design on their earlier reed valve [not same size as the scootrs one though] but they've changed to an alloy plate that takes the standard type bolt on rubber.

Look at the MB link I posted as that's basically what they've done. Doesn't look like there's that much to it.

Thanks corrado,
Defiantly looks an easy fix, but my problem comes that my breath sweet is right under the panel
And that's another 5mm it will crush it,
Are you likely to have one of those rubbers. It's for
The larger "ultimate" reed valve
Cheers Jon

Seems like ScootRS are having staff problems, according to their FB page:

"This is just a quick note to anyone waiting on a refund that they will be completed today.

Regarding updates, we currently don't have any staff to answer emails in English, but we're working normally behind the scenes, sending orders every day as we always have.

We have to apologize to our customers for any delays. Unfortunately, the previous customer service person was incredibly irresponsible and ran off without any notice at all after questioned about hours worked. We found he had secretly cut his hours in half, no longer doing the evening and weekend hours which he had requested to collect full-time pay. That was hidden from the company while we kept asking about problems recurring with customer service. As well, we found a big mess to decipher with orders sent but not marked, orders not sent but marked, orders left hanging for months for no reason at all while doing nothing about requests, customer emails deleted unanswered in the email trash, etc., etc., etc.

We mention that so you understand we have had a lot to do and that has caused some delays. If you walked into the shop, or if you phoned and spoke Vietnamese, that's OK but just not in English right now, sorry. You can order as normal, and updates within your account onsite are actually sent to staff in Vietnamese, so those are followed by staff no problem.

Thank you for your patience."

There was a FB page called 'ScootRS victims' that was set up to bring some of the non-deliveries & service issues out in the open. It's since been taken down so not as to harm ScootRS as a business.

On the page the guy who left who's mentioned above made an appearance and gave his side of the story, it sounded like the relationship between him & the owner (Randell?) had broken down. Good to hear the business is still running, but sounds like there's been a lot of unhappy customers in recent months.
