I've acquired a good early Indian GP frame with 'some' bodywork (leggies, front mudguard, rear runners & bridge piece) - but I'm missing side panels & headset... where's the best place to get decent re-made panels & a complete headset from?

Agreed, the headsets are awful. All the other bodywork is useable though. They do normally come with some dings and dents though.essexgp wrote:Just be prepared to spend hours with a Dremmel getting it to match together properlyDigDug wrote:You can get a complete late Indian headset from Scooter Restorations., I did with one I bought from them, better off looking for a good second hand Indian one in my opinion

You could talk to someone like Martin Girvin on FB. He had a few panels last time I heard.

Indian headset tops made in right Twix factory and headset bottoms made in left Twix factory and never the twain shall meet.
As well as the T shirt I have a box full of each. I probably won't live long enough to fettle them all to fit.
Get a Vietnamese one, perfect fit of the 2 halves and a rim that fits.

Would you consider fibreglass panels? If so a good friend of mine makes them for gp, li special,sx and series1/ 2 aswell as clip on for series 1/ 2, also mudguards to match. Absolute top quality and fit. Think panels are £70 a set. Pm me if interested.Speedy.

I've got fibreglass panels on my GP. They are absolutely spot on and fit like a glove. They came from GRP, if memory serves me correctly.speedy wrote:Would you consider fibreglass panels?
