Is 4th definitely the right way round?
i was thinking it could be the wrong way round, but im sure youve checked that, not sure if you know, but af sell all those gears loose so it may be worth buying another 4 th gear, or if someone has one spare you could borrow, they are same as sil 200 i belive, i do seem to recall there has been an issue with some sil 3rd gears not ground correctly as well, i think it could be the 4th gear at fault.

yes they are correct way bossup'''bosssdown etc funny tho that the 4th gear has oil grooves on the boss side
tried a geniune italian gp200/125 .....36tooth 4th gear and lo and behold it corrects the fault and everything lines up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so as far as i see its a duff 4th gear
as your suggestion i did think to see about another 4th from af but they list a close ratio and a gp200 one as well both 36tooth are they both the same or what ? but cos icant contact them will i ever know .... it seems impossible to buy anythinhg on line as you have to make an enquiry first ...wtf....
shame that a long established company cant seem to get the basics right ... i have 4 lambrettas to fully re build so a lot of business for someone ....!!!!
thanks for the advice lads
phil
