I bought this one 3 years ago, still working well:

It's wide enough for a Series 1/2 Lambretta. If that's important to you, check whichever bench you buy is wide enough - regular-size benches are too narrow for a Lambretta's stand.

I took the front wheel holders off mine, they just get in the way, left the end stop on though!Nerdy Norm wrote:I bought this one 3 years ago, still working well:

Yes, you don't want a hundred-odd kilos of scooter rolling forward when you're changing the rear wheel!
I forgot once to remove the loading ramp. My knees certainly noticed it when I whacked them on it when moving round to the work on the other side

Stateside these are imported by Harbor Freight and probably others. Often their sale coupons or their single item discount coupons bring the price closer to $300.Nerdy Norm wrote:I bought this one 3 years ago, still working well:

No doubt some British tool importers have the equivalent in their lineups.

same here £299 delivered. for the money it's not worth messing about trying to make/adapt one I went for the 1000lb one as it's slightly bigger/lifts higher....couldn't cope without it now !
Thanks all for help
