Has anyone on here had a Agusto malfunction ? and if so what was the outcome .... i am asking because my TS1 240 has holed 2 pistons in under 500 miles , previously to having the Agusto fitted and dyno'ed by a well know dealer / tuner the scoot ran for 7 yrs on static timing and never missed a beat.
I was just wondering if the unit could be breaking down after a while and not retarding off fully and causing the heat problem.
Cheers craig

Maybe the damage wasn't done at high revs.
I assume that your ignition is now advanced at low to mid rpm compared to what it was pre Agusto.
If you spend most of your riding at 4 to 5000rpm then maybe your ignition is a couple of degrees further advanced than previously?

Both times it has blown it was on a motorway traveling around 65 to 70mph at 7000 rpm rolling on and off the throttle slightly as i always have done on straight fast roads, so being the 6000 it should be fully retarded by then, i do ride fast 99% of the time which is what is making me believe it could be a faulty unit .
