whats the recommended new layshaft and gear selector make to use ........are sil ok or go for the dearer italian makes ?

If you want guaranteed genuine SIL you won't get more sure that Scooter Restorations

Id trust a new sil one over any used one regardless of origin , I have an indian scoot so sil for me if I was rebuilding an italian scoot id go for the casa one shop wisely and there around 60 gbp plus postage
