Depends on how awkward the manoeuvre is.
My shed was the front room of a terraced house. I could ride the bike in to the stairs, but once I started getting the back end round it would be impossible to swing it tight enough or change sides to work from the front.
My guzzi also had the fairings on.

Hi, scooters may be light compared to some bikes, but when you have to turn one completely 180 degrees in a tight space it is not the easiest thing to do.

My bench is wider and over engineered (hopefully) for my scooters.
My theory is...... Scooters are expensive. Paint jobs not cheap, parts fragile. Drop a scooter whilst moving it on a substandard bench or dolley and it could cost a lot of money.
100kg is quite a lot of weight when you try to manhandle it yourself.

Believe me it's far easier to move a 100kg Lambretta than a 231 kg Griso - I can't even lift the rear end on my own.wrecklessrobbie wrote:My bench is wider and over engineered (hopefully) for my scooters.

Well ok DigDug it's easier to move 100kg than 231kg but why should anyone struggle to do a simple thing this day and age, let's face it you could open a bottle with your teeth, but i'd sooner use a bottle opener.

I have no idea what a griso is let alone lift it.
I do however have a kawasaki zr7s. I dont even bother trying to lift it.
If its 25 kg or 250kg.... If you carnt lift it .... You carnt lift it.
My lambretta i can lift either end and push it up and down a ramp.
Thats all i need
