What's the tune?

What gearing?

What do you want it to do?

Standard TS1 matched to casings.

GP200 46 x 19

Fast road - not touring - thrashing around having fun :D

19x46 on a GP200 box gives you about 4.8.

Jl3 should work with that, you'll have a better spread of power lower down than with the Fran Race (JL4).

Is the Franspeed Race the same as a JL4 then?

They're all built by JL - Jim Lomas.

JL3 is based upon the old Taffspeed Road

JL4 is based on the old Taffspeed Race.

As I understand it the Franspeed pipes are Andy Francis' updated and branded version of the same pipes. They may have different bracketry and tail cans but essentially the same.
