Keys for 1980 Vespa P200e sold in the states

How many different keys came with 1980 Vespa P200e sold in the states?

I received two when I bought mine last fall. One operates the ignition switch and the other works the lock on the "glove box" on the leg shield.

The column lock is present but unlocked. Likewise for the seat lock. Since I have only one key to work the glove box lock I have been reluctant to force it in the column and seat locks.

Dont think thats quite right mr bodge.....
On a brand new bike one key should fit all locks that goes for Mk 2 onwards; 1 key 3 alike barrels: ignition/steering lock, seat and glove box. Vespa would give you 2 copies of the key

For mk1 in UK you would get 2 different keys one for the headset ignition then one for steering lock, seat and glove box. Again Vespa would give you 2 copies of each key.

your`s is a crossover mine is a 1980 Mk-1

& it has 3-keys

vespa p200e bought 1980 2 keys one for headset top and one for (steering lock toolbox and seat) hope this helps
