Oil on rear tyre..
Right hand side on the tyre wall. A few streaks seeped out. Is that the hub oil seal knackered?

Or the o ring on the gear changer shaft, possibly the breather depending on the direction it's facing.a.j wrote:Right hand side on the tyre wall. A few streaks seeped out. Is that the hub oil seal knackered?
You need to have a good look and see where it's coming from - any on the hub / casing etc?

It has to have gone from somewhere oily to the tyre. It did not teleport there. If your rear hub seal has gone / is leaking it will be on the inside of the hub or the wheel before it gets to the tire and it's likely you'd notice it in reduced brake performance.
What exhaust are you using? No sign of leakage around the gasket or joints that could spatter on the tire?
