I've recently put a new Varitronic ignition on my TS1 and the engine runs amazing (touch wood!) but, my SIP speedo which has always been spot on, now whenever I go over 40 it starts to play up, jumping about all over the place. I have a resistor plug as recommended but was wondering if there is anything else I can do to stop the interference?

Mm mm? That would be a no! Didn't realise I would have to. Would the info about this be in the SIP booklet?wack 63 wrote:Have you altered the settings to account for the twin spark?

Sensor. I've found the booklet now so will be able to adjust it accordingly later today. Hopefully that will sort it out. Having said that, maybe I'll leave it, according to my speedo - last night I did 115 mphToddy wrote:Is it cable or sensor ?

Adjusted accordingly and it appears to have fixed the issue. Many thanks for the help, as always
