Is the tick over screw lifting the slide sounds like cable to me ?ktmh5 wrote:Pretty sure it isn't as the slide is opening and closing fully as it should. The only thing I can say is that the tickover screw doesn't seem to have any effect on the engine speed. I can only adjust the tickover with the outer cable. The revs don't come down quickly at all and when I do get it to tick over it just suddenly cuts out.Toddy wrote:Is it a Throttle cable issue ?

As my Dad used to say "Each to their own lad"
If your tick over screw is all the way in it usually indicates a too rich pilot. Did the dyno operator alter your jetting?

That sounds like an air leak to me Rich.
I know its not a definitive solution but block the exhaust and see if it still runs.

Something to check ......The bolt or stud depending on which you chose at assembly that is located at front of the manifold is still tight or in place.
The one that screws in from underneath the manifold.
From experience ! So worth a try.
Mine was running great when I set off and it worked it's way out leaving a gaping hole in the manifold !
