I am after some advice on which of these kits to use the RT195 or the Gori 200 sport?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers

.......this'll open a can of worms... ;)

What are you after from the kit ? Tourer, "boy racer", 2-up, long trips, short trips, etc.

Any thoughts on gearing, exhaust, carb, etc....

Why only them 2 kits ?

There's load more options than that GT, Mugello, RB and so on.

Horses for courses though depends what you want from it.

There's the same question over on the lcgb forum and still no consensus over which is the best smallblock kit available. Each has its fans.

If i were sticking to the original question i'd go with the rt195 simply because if i needed help or spare parts MB are in this country and at the end of a phone.

Thanks for the replies.
I am just after a standardish kit for a bit of a runaround, as I am in jersey its just for short trips 1 up, got standard gp200 gearing with 22mm carb and a mbbgm clubman. Don't really want to go reed valve or big carb as I also have an rb22, just want something to putt around on.

Casa 185,not a great deal of improvement on top speed but very torquey and you can run it through the airbox.I have one on mine and it does 100 miles per gallon.

If you've got a 22mil carb and a clubman, why do anything other than get your 150 barrel to GP150 spec (italian, obviously), get it rebored and a new piston?

I agree with previous poster. Just had a GP150 barrel bored to 63mil and a piston to match. Nice motor now running with 22mil carb and a big bore indian box pipe i had hung on garage wall. No record breaker but nice for round town and shortish ride outs.

Agreed with the previous....i personally wouldn't lay out over £500 just to potter around town.

Isn't the speed limit 40mph on Jersey? Assuming anyone obeys the speed limit, of course
