Looking like 150cc?

57.7mm makes it 150cc give or take assuming standard 57mm stroke.
2.885 x 2.885 x 3.14 x 5.7 = 148.97

So looks like i have a 125 crank cases, with a 150 bore kit on it, a 200 carb with 200 jetting (according to vespa maintenance) so th question is, can the 24/24 be jetted to suit a 150 kit, or should i be looking for a smaller carb?

Should i be looking for a 20/20? i see there are lots listed on ebay, are the indian ones worth bothering with?

The jets you have are pretty standard for a 200, it could be worth downjetting and seeing how it goes before splashing out on a new carb. Just be sure to get genuine jets. Wasp Performance are well priced for genuine Dellorto jets and parts.
SI20/20 would be the normal carb for a 150. Spaco have been making them in India under licence for Dellorto for a number of years and I think even Piaggio fitted these as standard equipment latterly. I know people who have fitted them and had no trouble with them.
Like anything on eBay you need to be a little cautious on the source when buying sight unseen.
Have a look on SIP to see how much their fettled version is.

Not familiar with the prefix but with some luck it''ll prove to be a LML which're a pretty close relation to the PX with most parts interchangeable. Worst case's it'll be a Bajaj which could be a bit more tricky. If it does turn out to be a LML and a 5 port 150 I'd be well chuffed, one of the nicest standard "Vespa" motors I've ever ridden on.
Would also try re-jetting the 24 first especially if you think you may want to kit it somewhere down the road.

Can you explain the LML, Bajaj etc please? Im a total novice with scooters, its my first ever one, bought it just for a change but already im hooked.
The pipe it has, i have learnt this afternoon, is a performance item made by Simonini, so im guessing the PO bolted a 150 kit on his 125 (E18 is apprently 125cc as standard), bolted on a pipe and then thought it would need a big carb, failed to get it running right and hence i bought it as a project.
So given the 150 kit, the pipe and carb, can anyone suggest a starting point for jetting? I was thinking of buying a standard set of jets from a 20/20, just up 4 on the main, im not looking for outright power, just reliable and responsive

LML and Bajaj are Indian factories who built scooter, or had a franchise from Piaggio, for their domestic market. Latterly, when the legal b@11@x ran out they imported to the UK and other markets. LML are a pretty decent brand, do all of their own R&D and offer quite a number of variants these days including 4T manuals, automatics etc. on the, some say, classic PX chassis and now the PK chassis in automatic form at least. Bajaj tended to be older models just with added Indian ugliness. Imagine say a Morris Ital with a bodykit and a paintjob designed by your daughters or nieces pre-school class and you'll be getting close to it.

If it does turn out to be an LML motor it would be worth knowing if it is the reed valve version.
I have a set of those casings in the shed, if it's still there tomorrow I'll go out and see what the prefix is on them.
