I havent bought Scootering for many years.
Due to all the reasons highlighted on this or other posts. It does not appeal to me.
I now feel classic scooterist is going the same way. I wont be buying that anymore.

Got my copy today and so far I've enjoyed it. In the ads I spotted a cheap flight jacket with armour... casa cranks... new rear hub bearing being manufactured.....lambretta sprocket recall....cheap kits for scomadis..great scooter prize...loads more info which interests me. Without it I'd never know otherwise. Love the touring write up too. For the price of a beer and a half or 11 smokes in my part of the world I think it's great! I can't understand people criticizing it. Would love to see them host a tv prog!

Most of the posts that mention Scootering end up with half the people slagging it off.
It's not everyone's cup of tea but it's the best there is. Let's face it, if any of us had one of our scoot featured in there we'd be proud as punch. The adverts are a necessary evil that ensure the magazine exists. The features are just there to get you to buy it. This is the case for all magazines.
I think a few more ideas would be welcome - it's lacking a bit of imagination at the moment. How about a short feature about your average scooterist: a rally goer, collector, racer, trader, tourer, modern, classic, custom. The world of scootering is so varied, that's what makes it so great.
Scootering can give the impression that unless you have a custom bike worth £10k or you tune the balls off your bike then you're not really a scooterist. There's a bigger world of scootering than that

maybe if more people bought/supported it they could put more pages in it and have dedicated articles of ongoing testing of various scooter related things it would be a good way to keep up to date info as to how certain products are performing, I think the new products section is great the only problem is I forget what the new products are after a week 
. Yes theres loads of things in the mag p155 me off but hey if some people want to act like dicks!!!that's upto them so live and let live..............as for the elite who are way above buying the Mag,,,,TELL THEM NOTHING everything paulD said was in this months edition is all lies theres about 100 even better things in it which yous miserable oul sods are missing this is the best edition yet unbelievably brilliant all those new stage 9 lammy kits from Portugal and them 9000 NOS GPs found in Syria (that's it I,m spilling the beans again)
