Anyone fitted a SIP speedo, and gone for the option of connecting up one of their fast flow taps with the wires sticking out of it?

Apparently, they'll connect right up. But not the ones they sent me.

Is there a genius that knows which way around these should be crimped?

Ok,

What speedo/model are you doing?
I have fitted PX ones that say they will take a fuel level but bloody don't.
Are you sure your speedo takes one, and you aren't mistaking the speedo pick up for a fuel level plug??

Shaun.

(is that your nails in the pic  they need trimming)

It's a Rally one.
Nah, the speedo pick up only fits into one.

Looking at the clues.. it's definitely the one for the fuel guage. They've (conveniently) made them all 'one fit', so the inept can't fuckit up. Thus:

All connected up.. apart from the speedo one, which is already through the fork:

They've not even made the wires matching colours.

Edit.. short nails are no good when you've put your screwdriver down, just out of reach ;)

And, obviously, nobody at SIP answers emails.
