Hello all

iv just bought for one of my classic looking lambrettas the remade biemme number plate surround red plastic lens , ali surround with festoon double internals I might be a bit thick any suggestions on how to wire this I obviously run from the main black wire from the loom if I want it on as a rear light I guess one wire feed and two wires soldered to the festoon holders do I earth it ???.

If it's one of the Indian copy's look at the brass contacts it should have a lamp holder that's riveted to the back plate. That should be the ground. As long as it's bolted to the bike that should be enough. The other end of the bulb holder should have an insulated washer under the tab but 2 of mine had the insulated spacer in the wrong position so it was a dead short. In theory yes connect the black from the rear light and your new light should work you can have 2 for brake light and 2 for tail.
