Hi , just wondered if anyone had an opinion on the best oils to use with this clutch , a post on FB suggested that the sae30 oils would perform better than the st90 . Or that's what I think they are getting at . Just wondered if anyone had any input or experience of what is the better .
Regards James

I've used 90 for the last three seasons, now gonna change the corks. Never heard anything about 30
I use a classic sae30 oil that I use when I servic vespas 18 quid for 5lts with owners club discount vespas use a wet clutch with this oil so why not on a lammy

No but st90 is basically sae30, im not advocating anyone use it just answering the Op question its better for me as I have loads and its alot cheaper , there was a thread on here sometime ago about itMuppet wrote:does a vespa have chain drive?

Motul transoil 10/30 2t oil in mine.
I've only learnt recently that SAE30 is about the same as ST90 that I've gone out of my way to get
SAE30 is available all over the place which is great.
