Hi all can anyone recommend good quality wiring harness 12 v DC battery for s2. Also, I'm after an ignition switch if anyone could steer me towards good quality ones as I haven't got a clue what's good or bad yet thanks
This bloke is very good, had one off him a few years ago, LCGB member also I think, Barney. This particular link is for 12v with a front brake light, but he does do any looms you ask for , and the important thing is they fit and they work.

Ignition wise the I've used a Casa switch for about 8+ years no problems, there is also the Scootopia type also (these are for series 3 which means you will either just use the wiring for ignition on/off or use it for on /off and your lights and just use the handlebar switch for dip/full beam)

I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.

I had a wiring loom off the ebay guy, remember to tell him its for a series 2 or it will be too short in the headset, otherwise great quality.

Scootopia or MB do really good quality ones also. I've used both and they were spot on.

Just an update for anyone interested in a new wiring harness. I received mine today after speaking with Graham on Monday and telling him exactly what I need. The quality is exellent ,really neat and good quality wire and connections. He also does other stuff for lambretta like bolts and fixings and judging by his ethos I would imagine his other stuff will be good too. Cheers for the heads up lads top bloke
