Agreed, I've been using one of theirs almost daily for 3 years now and it's still going strong but it was the armoured under garment I was referring to in my OPEddieStone wrote:Tucano Urbano do some great looking kit with removable armour AND a nice warm liner.

My reference to street cred was a joke with a mate. I wear armoured suit any time I'm on a scooter.nuttyboy wrote:Street cred over safety kinda sums up some scoooterists,

For jackets I wear off the bike, like in the style of the Roadmaster, I put in d30 armor in the elbows and shoulders, but in the back use a firm insert by either Knox of Forcefield. The reason being the flexible d30 is heavier. In the elbows and shoulders it bends easily so you dont look like a Power Ranger. I had piece in the back as well, but its really heavy compared to the Knox. I find I dont need the flexibility in the back so opt for the weight saving.
I've tried a number of different jean manufacturers, by favourite by far are Rev'it. I have 3 pairs now. Fit, finish, and all around protection are the best based on my research.
Good luck with it.
