SIP Speedo Stuck at 120
Power and earth seem fine but nothing works. It was slowing going up to the max reading of 120, staying there then come down when off. It's now stuck at 120. Any ideas anyone?
check under the sheathing where all the wires enter the back of the speedo and look if one of the blacks has become detached.

you get that sort of issue if you dont use a resistor spark plug...
mine did this, throw away the NGK resistor plug and fit a Champion R rated plug .. cured mine straight away
Thanks all.i found a B9 R ES plug, put that in and it's better. Rev counter is sweet, It's in KPH and the temp isn't working so that will have to be overcome. I'm pressing the switch for 3 secs to programme the thing but it's not having it.
if the button isn't doing anything check its wires are still connected under the sheathing under the speedo unit.Lamaddict wrote:Thanks all.i found a B9 R ES plug, put that in and it's better.
