I wouldve thought every time you take off and re attach the pipe it may seat sightly differently each time?

Mine is fitted with an olive that grips the sensor stem so it goes back in the same place each time. I am on my 3 rd sensor though the wires seem to break internally as it exits the stainless rod. The one Im using at the moment is a bent one off ebay via China, its the best yet with a very fast response time. each sensor has been different so you need to note when running when all is well then spot the odd readings like after a refill it being 200 degrees hotter = back off
Stainless stub mig welded with normal wire no problem
