Hi
I have a pair of replacement SIL leg shields for my 1970 GP. I'd like to put on the original Italian badges, but there's no holes at all, not even Indian spaced ones. Does anyone have the measurements/template to allow me to drill the legshields and fit the Italian badges in the correct original position?
Thanks for your help
Chris

You do know SIL GP legshields are a different shape to Italian GP so you'll be the victim of Lambretta nazi's?

I know, but I'm not fussed, I don't entirely agree either.
Back in the 80's my old 1971 electronic had curved legshields and my old 1970 150 had square legshields, both factory original and Italian.

Thanks, it will be a great help. Don't have any access to an Italian GP these days so can't do it myself.

I just measured the set on my dining room table. I measured with the curve on the outside.
The top badge holes are 69mm between the centres. The near side one is 47mm horizontally from the turned lip on the outside of the legshield and 98mm vertically from the same lip at the top curve. The horncast side one is 144mm vertically from the top lip.
The lower badge holes are 47mm between the centres. The near side one is 67mm horizontally from the lip and the 124mm vertically. The horncast side one is 144mm vertically from the top lip.
