While I've got the engine out I'm going to replace the main engine mount (silent block) which appears to be knackered.
The Haynes Manual I have for Gileras reckons replacement is a job for Dealers/Specialist Engineers.

Can anyone advise otherwise and offer any tips?

It went pressed in easy with the Lambretta silent block tool. :)

Can anyone tell me where this fits.

It came with the top end gasket set, but I can't figure out where it supposed to go. :?

I've found out it is an exhaust gasket for standard pipes.

The one that fits in a recess in the down pipe where it connects to the flange on the barrel.

I wondered why there wasn't a gasket fitted to mine when I dismantled it. There was all along but I didn't realise. I was expecting a TS1 type gasket.
