That looks like the colour that it was before it was restored. It's an F regn. '89 model. I'll post a pic tonight. Cheers

I have to say I like it. I think the T5 suits a bold colour, whether it's metallic or not. I'll keep mine the colour it is over the Winter and, if I still like the Aquamarine in the Spring, I'll probably strip it all down.

I'll pop into Turners over the next week or so as I suspect they'll probably have the paint code for definite.

Just looked at another photo of the hollow by the rear light. Seems it was resprayed aquamarine and was originally a metallic royal blue.

I don't know what it is with Vespa colour code information, I gave up trying to get a code for the metallic Maroon that my T5 Classic was painted in. It was original paint but the silver sticker had gone awol :( I even rang the main dealers (MSC?) but the guy wasn't even able to guess  I ended up doing the panels in a contrasting colour.

The more I look at the photos, the more confused I get. It could be that the back end had been involved in a smash years ago and repaired with part of a PX frame. Alternatively, I have seen reference to Midland Scooter Centre doing a good trade in Aquamarine re-sprays in the early '90s which would tie in with the scoot coming from the Midlands, which it did apparently.

I don't suppose I'll ever know :)
