It may be an idea to take the toolbox lock off and look underneath it as the person carrying out its last respray seems to have left the lock in situ. It could be original colour underneath.

Christ alive this is killing me....
Rite Chaps, been looking and "scraping" in awkward locations.....( no not then!)
And I've seen a deep Cream/beige colour.( around the Ring between Headset and leg shield and around the inner side Panels.....
I believe this scooter to be from Italy and dates to early 1962.
There is no Real reason to continue my Crusade BUT it would be nice to Try and find the Original colour, instead of this Landrover Colour!!!

Beige was an original colour for s3 li125.
I wanted to paint mine that colour but no one knows the paint code.
Why not be a trail blazer and get it analysed so that we all have access to your newly found knowledge?

Theres not nearly enough paint to analyse ...
That would be my Luck... Right paint but no paint Match!
...is there not any old scooters with the Original paint that could be Matched?
