Since I built my engine there has been a slight knocking noise coming from the rear hub/gearbox. When I spin the wheel in neutral I can hear a clicking noise like something is catching. I have taken the gearbox apart twice now trying to find the cause and I can't find anything amiss at all. It's all shimmed properly, I've checked and double checked everything but the clicking is still there when I put everything back together again. The scoot is running fine, gears work fine, nothing untoward happens when I'm riding her :?: baffled :?: any thoughts?

The hub is fine mate, I think the noise is coming from the gear selector, just took it apart (agains!).

The first hear is loose again, I can move it slightly with my fingers. Does anyone know if a Spanish first gear is a different size to Italian, if it's different that might explain the difficulty I'm having in shimming it
