Hi Guys
Anyone running a Harry Barlow Stage 4 top end? What sort of speed do they do? Worth getting or am I better getting a kit? Just looking for a rally going engine but a bit quicker than the standard P2!!
cheers

That plus a long stroke crank is a marvel. Not much faster but doesn't slow down on hills or in headwinds. Its how they should have come from the factory.
Meus Lambretta est non infractus. Is est quietus.
my m8 has one, standard barral carb sito exhausts holds its own all day long

If you want a rally going P2 utilising standard ish spec they are great.
Extra bit of punch for the motorways with not much affect on fuel consumption and hammer to the motor.
As said like a P2 should have been out the factory
I mainly ride lambretta and only use the p2 occasionally but it never fells slow. Hammered it to IOW last year with 2 TS1 and nothing passed us.
I have just removed the SIP performer have used for years with it for a SIP road - haven't been far but I like the rideability with the road over the performer. Must get it used in anger.
Sadly for it - lambretta to IOW this year.
I don't think you will be disappointed if you want to keep a P2......over a GTS (which will never be for me! )
Go get it done......if you can get hold of Harry!

I've heard the polini can be a bit seize prone unless you use a better piston? I've had a stage 4 for a while and it's a good improvement over the standard 200 engine.Interested in the 60mm crank option though,I guess Id need a 1.5mm head gasket?

I have 1.5mm packer under the standard piaggio cast barrel Harry did but not on the Autisa barrel he also tweaked in the same way.
I take it the 1.5mm packer is for a 60mm crank for this setup?
