I've got a few quid to squander at the minute and I'm looking to buy a decent classic bike....and we moan about the price of scooters. :cry:

Try buying spares for a modern bike. Think of the most ridiculous amount you think the manufacturers could possibly ask and still keep a straight face and then double it.

just joined , ive 2 bikes aswell as my scoots , over 15 miles or with pillion aswell bike gets thrashed ,a xj600 , for fun/danger my bsa c15/cb350 sprinter comes out ,its called "the b@5t@rd" as everytime i ride it ,it trys to kill me , horses for courses ,both make me smile/happy, scoots or bikes just in different ways . H

C15 or bantam, just don't try to keep up with your mates on their crazily fast lambrettas.

Just managed to get the photos of my bikes over the years on my pc. The last one is my favourite, shouldn't have sold it, never mind.

I haven't been without a bike since I was 6, or without a scooter since I was 14, 32 years ago.

Just back from a 2078 mile journey around, Belgium > Germany > Austria > Switzerland > France > Luxembourg & back into Belgium.

Managed a lap of the Nurburgring too.
