Yep that seems to do the job
Funny thing is that even with the legs bent out a bit it seems to catch a little at a one point - the shaft spins freely apart from a certain point where it just stiffens up - its only noticeable when the dog is in first gear position. Cant really understand it as the dog is round. As, with the gear box assembled its possible to push past it turning the xmas tree by hand, I'm tempted to ignore it as assume that the feet of the wishbone will wear a little on use and it will eventually disappear or not be noticeable when driving. The layshaft does not stick if the wishbone is not engaged with the dog so it must be something like a high spot on the dog's wheely bit that only impacts when the feet things are pushed hard left?
