Headlight bulb flickering

The headlight bulb on my SS180 flickers on and off for a second or two, especially when the revs are increased. I've tried both a regular bulb and a halogen. I've also checked the wiring in the handlebar as well as at the rectifier and battery and no loose connections.

Any ideas?

I`d try another rectifier m8, borri 1 off a mate if poss?

Just had the same problem last week it was a dodgy rectifier

Make sure it is earthed correctly.

Sorted! It was the bulb holder.
