self closing throttle

I specifically asked at the mot station when I booked the test about this and was told the throttle did not have to self close. I suppose this is always down to tester interpretation or whim.

I wouldn't ride a bike or scooter that the throttle didn't self close on.
When I bought mine from AF it didn't, this solved it :

I wouldn't ride a non-indicator scooter with a self-closing throttle.
