Hi all,

Just adding up what my project is gonna cost and getting a bit nervous  still doable but what do you reckon main difference I'll notice with TS1 as opposed to the Rapido I'm running at the moment. Will be 30 mil Dellorto, JL3 pipe with GP200 'box?

Cheers on advance.

Your bound to notice an increase of speed due to the fact that you are now about 400 pounds lighter........GBP's that is :D Less weight equals more speed............ :ninja:

And the rest by time I get proper suspension sorted front & rear.

the main difference is it"ll gan faster! but rapido 225, JL3 30 mm delly is a good set up (if set right) quite a few running with this and they run well. TS are great though........ if youve got TS money...keep your pipe, but get a TS1 downpipe/flange, 19/47 with your gearbox, i would get a bigger carb...... mikuni35mm is the boy,and sort your brakes etc.. couple of lads i know running suzuki pistoned rapidos, with JL3 , and they are high geared to cruise all day. when wound on they are high cruising speed, low revving, fuel sippers.... ideal rally scooters.......... . if youve got a rapido already, i would get an APE rod conversion, and a suzuki piston. saves a few quid for other stuff you"ll need............ ;)

Cheers for that.

Yup...running Rapido already with the JL3 and 30mil Delly (not running quite right at the moment as pretty spluttery but think it's running a bit rich or jet is blocked or summat). Really goes well and has a lot of low end torque. My main concern is losing this torque if I got a TS1. Already got outboard disc but need to beef up the suspension.

I could be throwing a load of dosh at it for not much benefit (and the missus wants a hoiliday LOL!!!)
