I running a mugello 186 on a 25 mm PHBL dellorto and just changed from an ancilloti which ran fine to a bgm clubman (ancilloti didn't fit right , bracket snapping etc. muggy problem solved for me by this forun :) ) .....and it doesn't seem to rev out now. It is fine up to 65 and then it just hits a wall feels like it is dragging, running with a 105 main jet although I might up this a bit and see if it performs better. If not I am going to try a 28 mm dellorto and see how that goes but I was told there is a problem with the BGM clubman exhaust revving out , anyone had this problem?

I ran mine with a 26 but changed to a 28 and it revs out fine, had it sorted on a dyno. Is your clubman secured to the bottom of the crankcase?

Yes secured on bottom of case , changed carb tonight to 28mil , changed plug, lead,CDI and HT lead tested the stator and it is ok, but scooter is still not revving out ,Great up to about 3/4 revs about 60-65 then it feels like it is breaking down and starts to slow and drag if I try and rev on.

Was running the 25mil with a 105 main and now running the 28 with a 118 although I think this is running rich rather than lean but I''ll will rejet tonight from 105 upwards. Hopefully this will sort things out. I can try a PM pipe although specifically want a box pipe. I had not heard of a problem with the BGM's but was told last weekend by a well known shop owner that they don't rev out. Hope this isn't another expensive doorstop especially as I went out my way to buy the correct swan neck as the ancilloti and an indian big bore both snapped at the bracket (a known mugello problem)

I would as you just went leaner on idle, mid range and top end all without plug chopping each one individually
