Forum moderation is a bit hit and miss just lately, the only global moderator hasn't visited the forum for nearly 2 months :( im sure Dan and Sean have more pressing things to do than moderate every post or referee members disputes, so its turning into a free for all :)

Or is it? lol

It's almost like a Ryanair marketing ploy

I know this might be instigated by a washer but if the quality of such an easy to produce part is poor then it pays to have that knowledge when choosing a seller for a more crucial part. I know Donnie as a bloke who gives good advice and help, and I'm sure his intention on this thread was for good reasons.
Just on a second thought about this Ebay seller, I've noticed over the past months they bombard Ebay with products for all kinds of machinery, that all come up page after page even though they're not related to my search parameters. How do they get away with that? If I were a private seller on ebay I'd be a bit pi55ed off with the coverage they manage, as I'm sure like me most people just skip pages rather than scroll down and probably miss the private seller with a genuine sale.

Just looked at their site http://www.willenwhores.co.uk and indeed they have a '3 for one' offer on hub cone shims! For £0.59 you can get all three to almost make-up the difference in THICKNURSE :)

Are you saying they sent two shims short of a set?
