GP 125 - TS1 engine. Fully rebuild
Yes Toddy! It's seems work fine. Today is the first test drive. Just waiting the MOT and insurance
Agreed awesome work and a damn fine thread.
Last pic with filter. No good with this Marchald

After speaking with some friends, i took aluminum mosquitos net.

And finally the new filter. Carburation is now good.

.

.

I changed old fuel hose, with new. Inner circle 7mm and 13mm outside. Now fuel flow is right.

The connection of JL4 silencer doing this…

In first step i used aluminum tape

Now i’m looking for sealant or rubber for high temp.
There is another trouble.
The carb moisture dirty all panel. On black matt is so visible.
I made a temporary hole carb flap with paper and tape. I do this just to see the protect result. This last week I run for 60 miles to a scooter meeting and the the panel is very clean.
Now I’ll made an metal flap, just decide it will be in black also or chrome.

.

My first run pic made by my friend.
The Ts1 run very well. Just 250 running in miles remaining.
I’m so happy.

Some news
I fit the Kytronic by MITO. Set the stator to 24° static. Switch the kytronic to 2nd curve (it's the second left upper)

It's a fast touring setting. Speaking with my friends, they tell me is the right setting to improve acceleration, better engine rotation and to prevent piston damage.
Finally arrived the SIP tubless rim

And now i have a big doubt to solve.
My JL4 is my favourite alltimer: sound, looking and quality is gorgeus. But this exhaust don't push high rev my Lammy.
This past week end i tested the top speed. I and my friend made a primitive test. I ran next to Tmax’s friend. The tacho said 138 km/h (86 mph)…real 130 km/h (83 mph). I think that my engine can push more

Finally is arrived the new exhaust: JL Franspeed race

It’s arrived the rev counter: i’m so curious to check the engine speed. At top speed I felt the engine stopping; it’s also arrived the reverse chain tensioner.
Next week week I would try 4,70 ratio (now is 4.80). I’ll change the crownwheel from 47 to 46 with 18 teeth sprocket
And finally I will have to change my clutch. The mito clutch is tested up to 21-22 bhp. My clutch slip in 3° and 4° gear.
Now is arriving a 5 plate strenghtned. If I’ll not solve the problem, I’ll change with 6 plate (BGM or AF)
Waiting to fit the exhaust, I paint the flywhell dust cover

I think is a good match with red brake caliper and red R1 spring.

yesterday in the afternoon i took back my legshield toolbox.

The 4 holes are hidden and in good position (under horncast and mudguard)

Sometimes even the Vespa can be useful.
This week I’ll fit rev counter, mirror and new exhaust
