Cyclinderhead removal ....... WOnt budge!

Anything related to Lambrettas... ask tech questions, post helpful info, or just read and learn.

Any tips on removing a Mugello cylinderhead? Bugger won't budge!

Never had that problem :?

Put the plug back in and kick it over to see if the compression shifts it a little??

Gently tapping the head around the circumfurence with a hide mallet usually shifts it. Lambro's ideas a good one too, but may unseat the whole kit from the base? but if so, I'd drop out the engine bolt, take off the head and cylinder in one go and make it easier to separate them?

Did the cylinder head get some sort of sealant on it when put together last, and if so, did they use the right one??

Done it now! Tapped it around a bit with a rubber mallet :!: :roll:
