Can anybody tell me what the difference is between series 1, 2 and 3 bridge pieces. I have just received a series 3 polished stainless one from Cambridge Lambretta and when I have tried to fit it, it seems to be too wide, there is also no curve in the edge that goes against the frame loop below the taps. It is a straight edge. Have they supplied me with the series 2 part?

Some early s3 had the straight type too. Sticky's book explains this.

Your problem could be with what you purchased in my experience no shiny bits will fit a lambretta :D

Spoke to Cambridge Lambretta and they explained that some early Lambrettas had the series 2 bridge piece. They have exchanged the part and it is as they suspected. Fits fine.
