Tyre change

Anyone got any tips for removing tyres on split rims. In the past mine have always been complete tw&&£s to get off. In fact after loads of swearing and sweating I've resorted to cutting them off. This time I want to keep the tyres and could do without throwing them around the garage in anger lol

Washing up liquid or WD40.

As in sticky's manual,remove all wheel rim nuts,prise rims apart and keep open using 2 sockets.Then stick your fingers in and pull apart.

You can squeeze the tyre in the jaws of a vice or a Workmate to help brake the seal. You can also lay the rim flat and work around the tyre with all your weight pressing down on you heal. Kep doing all that and then try again with the lyre levers/screwdrivers, It'll come free eventually.

prise rims apart after removing nuts (obviously, but you never know....) put a couple of small blocks of wood between them, bit of diluted washing up liquid around the rim, and stand on the bead of the tyre (flat on the floor) and it"ll come off, if pulling off with ya hands, wear a stout pair of gloves (I use welders gauntlets) saves ya nails....manicures are expensive these days. or cut the fuckers off! some are tighter than others...S1"s are a tw@7 to get off (and on sometimes.)
