Has anyone successfully installed an SIP S1-2 digital speedo in an S1 headset without modification? The speedo body is hitting my gear change pulley and doesn't allow me to screw down the headset top.
Thanks

Is the pulley shimmed out too close to the speedo?

I'm hoping it's an easy fix because my next project is a S1 and will have the SIP speedo.

I only used one shim to fit the gear change pulley and the cable alignment looks good. Looks like I need to break out the dremmel or make a spacer to fit under the speedo bezel to raise the speedo up. Not much room in these S1 headsets especially with the front brake hydraulic line running through it!

I am planning a similar installation on my S1, so any further info would be appreciated. Maybe even a photo [FACE WITH STUCK-OUT TONGUE AND WINKING EYE]

I don't want to keep up with modern traffic. I want to hoon past it, preferably on one wheel!

As a follow-up - by changing the shims on the gear change rod and turning the Speedo slightly to match the angle of the gear change pulley I was able to fit the headset top. So it takes some fiddling but I didn't have to break out the Dremmel.
