Seat identification please....

It could be that they had common suppliers I suppose. We may never know.

seat catch could be Spanish but the seat does not look like anything Spanish I have seen
the Italian TV 175 had a similar seat cover to the Spanish scoots the one known as the coke bottle type

sorry should read all the post and looked at all the pictures before | say owt.
not sure of the first seat I have a Cento and the seat is different to that.
as for the Second seat by firekdp yes it looks like a Spanish seat and in good condition. the covers on Spanish seats are smooth on top, the Italians usually have an arched band halfway down. is there a badge on the back? Spanish used either EL tigre or industrias Garbi for there seats later ones did not have the badge and the 2 conical springs at the rear were dropped in favour of solid tubes

Buzz, thanks very much for the info. There is no badge on the back and the rear springs have indeed been replaced by solid tubes.
