I will spare you the pain that is the full scooter and concentrate on the finer details:
Front hub locking device direct from restorer:

Massive slot in the forks for the pinch bolt:

Which allows almost full rotation and a good degree of lift on the headset when bolt is loosened.
This is the view down through the top bearing track, where the cables and loom are fouling the steering lock:

Not the clearest pic, but is it me, or is there a long tube missing that should join top and bottom bearing tracks together
